My family regrets working with Re-New Mobility and I recommend that anyone considering a wheelchair purchase steer clear.Long story short, they were very difficult or impossible to communicate with and they ended up going to the personal care home, taking my grandma's wheelchair which she was sitting on and had paid for in full, and they never apologized.Details:There was an initial misunderstanding between our family, the occupational therapist and Re-New Mobility about the terms of the deal for a wheelchair for my grandma. Misunderstandings happen, so we left several messages with Re-New to try to clear up the misunderstanding. Eventually they left a message saying that we either needed to pay in full (which they acknowledged wasn't the original terms) or they were going to go to the personal care home and take the wheelchair, which my grandmother was presently sitting in and living her waking life in.As soon as we got this message, we called Re-New Mobility's collections person. We told them we were very displeased about the changing terms and the lack of communication on their part thus far -- but we handed over our credit card over the phone and paid in full according to their demands.Later that day we discovered that Re-New Mobility had come to the personal care home and asked the staff to remove my grandma from her chair. They left with my grandma's wheelchair, which had been paid for immediately after we received their unreasonable demands.A kind company does not steal a wheelchair from an old woman with dementia.We called them to ask them why they had stolen my grandma's wheelchair. They returned the wheelchair with no apology.And they still have not brought over the new cushion that my grandma paid for.I recommend that all Winnipeggers find a different wheelchair provider for themselves or their loved ones.

Overpriced second hand products. we bought a supposed brand new tilting wheelchair for my aunt last year and the frame of the chair delivered was already compromised even if it was supposed to be brand new. their Sales guy James doesn’t even know how these items were assembled, considering he’s a wheelchair specialist this guy needs training smh.. we had to call his wingman just to find out that it was a factory defect, and he was insisting it wasn’t. We previously had a better experience with Todd as he’s more knowledgeable, issue was settled after a bunch of fixes.

My elderly mom rented, then purchased a wheelchair. The personal care home where my mom lives did all the work in ordering. I contacted Re-New Mobility three times for account info and changing from rent to own. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.The wheelchair is perfect. Great value for the price.

We needed a special wheelchair; lightweight frame, adjustable height seat and leg supports, a curved and adjustable back plus a comfortable called cushion seat.We are very happy with the service and pricing we received from Re-New Mobility. Delivery and setup was done the day after the order was placed!

Received prompt and friendly service for a rental chair. The wheelchair is comfortable. However, it lacks support to keep the user's feet from sliding off the foot plates.

Super helpful staff. They had everything we needed either new or gently used. Really happy with this store!!!

Went to see if they had rentals, they do, but they said that it was being rented right now. So. . . Only one was to be rented. Other than that, the store was nice ,clean and the person was very friendly and helpful.

We called Re-New Mobility and dealt with James for a wheelchair for our mother. James ordered the style I wanted for Mom and custom fit with an amp board. James was amazing!!! So loving and gentle with Mom. Took the time answering all of our questions. He custom fit her wheelchair and delivered it to the house making sure she loved it and all was comfortable for her. We phoned about an issue and James was there and took care of it immediately. Our family loved dealing with James and Eve in the office. Very professional and knowledgeable . Would recommend to all. Awesome company to deal with.Thank you James and Eve for all your help and expertise.Joanne McCarthy
